Kaffir lime leaves can be frozen so if you do find an Asian grocery store that carries them fresh, put them in an airtight container or ziploc bag and freeze them. When you are chopping them to consume, I always take out the large vein that runs through the middle and chop them very finely. They are often used to infuse flavour in broth, rice, etc and you can throw them in "as is" when using them this way.
Simple Turkeyballs
1 package of lean ground turkey(250g)
1 green onion diced
1 clove of garlic diced
handful of cilantro chopped
salt and pepper
Mix everything together and form into meatballs. I marinated them in Adam Gartler's sauce and then baked on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper for 20 minutes at 350. Then I brushed them with some marinade that I had set aside and broiled them for about 3 minutes. I then topped the turkeyballs with peanuts and cilantro.
