I've been typing up my recipes and sharing them with my friends and family for years now. I love to cook food, read about food, watch food being cooked on tv and EAT good food. So..........I finally decided to bite the bullet and do a food blog. It will be challenging for me as I've never done a blog or website of any kind and I've never had to refine my recipes for a greater audience. But I like a challenge and I think my friends and family will enjoy a place where they can get inspired for meal ideas or find that recipe they shared with me back in the day.
I lived in Asia for ten years and so much of my food is Asian inspired. I usually have some spice in my food as well so please keep that in mind when you are following my recipes. Adjust to your taste and taste test the chillies you use as they can widely vary in spiciness. It's great to have some whole dried chillies or some chilli flakes in your pantry as they can always replace a fresh one. I don't eat red meat and so many of my recipes have chicken or fish in them. I believe my recipes are still accessible to everyone as often beef or pork can replace the protein I am using.
